As a Senior Maintenance Technician working for Hepburn and Sons LLC,
you will be assigned as part of our technical work force to support and grow our engineering
capabilities and support our customers in the maritime industry and the United States Navy for the Surface Compat Systems Center (SCSC) of Wallops Island, VA.
You will be welcomed into a diverse group of expertise and engineers that are dedicated to mentor and support our entire work staff at all levels.
Train, assist and provide management to other members of the maintenance team. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on test systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot combat systems using various equipment. Perform corrective and preventive maintenance and micro-miniature (2M) repair to maintain combat system readiness.
Prepare quarterly maintenance schedules as approved by the Government Combat System Maintenance Officer.
Complete maintenance tasks that include cable fabrication, repair and installation, cable removal, equipment overhaul and refurbishment,
tactical electrical power connection and repair, and cooling plumbing connection and repair, equipment foundation fabrication, and heavy weather preparation and recovery.
Provide detailed reporting, analysis and corrective action taken.
Ten (10) years experience in maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing of tactical equipment in their area of expertise and be certified as a Maintenance Person in accordance with PQS 301,
reference NAVEDTRA 43241-K and be qualified to work on assigned systems.
Demonstrated experience in the ability to define, articulate, and communicate equipment status and troubleshooting efforts and recommend courses of action for approval.
Demonstrated experience in the ability to coordinate, schedule and implement equipment upgrades.
